Route K10. Spring Break is March 15 - March 19. K10 route will run reduced schedule as shown.

Route L & N. 95th St, beginning Monday Feb. 22, we will not be serving 95th St East of Oak Park Mall due to I-69 Construciton closures.

Wednesday February 17. Johnson County recieves 10.5 Million Dollars in Federal TIGER Funds through an application with MARC to enhance Kansas City area Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) services. Article on how this money will fund Metcalf upgrades.

The JO winter weather procedures:

• The JO always plans to run ALL routes in a timely manner.
• Routes can run slow during severe weather and traffic conditions.
• In extreme cold, bundle up, the bus heater cannot keep up with opening doors and large windows.
• When routes run more than 30 minutes behind, or 15 minutes during business hours, rider alerts will be sent and local media will be contacted.

Disabled Access

All of our buses and cutaway vans are equipped with wheelchair lifts to accommodate our disabled commuters. Many buses can lower at the curbside so riders don't have to step quite so high to get onto the bus. Please ask the driver for assistance.

Johnson County now offers language translation services for its Web site. Thirteen languages are currently available through this service including Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.

To access this service go to the Johnson County Home Page and click the appropriate flag icon at the bottom of the screen. Then select Agencies/Departments and click Bus-The JO.

Language translators are available through the Regional Call Center at
816-221-0660. Route maps are available in Spanish upon request.
