JO News Request for qualifications for the Metcalf & SMP Corridor Transit Improvements project will be received by the City of Overland Park, Kansas, at the
office of the City Engineer, 8500 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66212 until 2:00 p.m. local

Easy answer: The JO has run out of letters for new routes! Throughout the rest of 2010, The JO plans on switching to numbered routes, but will continue to list the original letter designation. The switch to numbers will accomodate new routes as The JO continues planned expansion. The three digit route id will be integrated with the Metro bus so that each agency can have different blocks of numbers and a single numbering system.
